Ceramic powders are first coated with a synthetic resin by a special coating procedure, the Coat-Mix procedure, and granulated. However, many compounds which are classified as ceramics today contain no clay. We investigated possible correlations among textural parameters obtained using both sensory assessment and instrumental textural analysis. The ceramic material's performance characteristics enhance tool life, dimensional control of extrusions and surface finish of extruded tubes and rods. It is a new approach to the sintering technique for ceramic and ceramic-based composites prepared by water as a transient solvent for densification at temperatures between room temperature and 200C.
